TORONTO, June 11, 2020 – Millennium1 Solutions is pleased to announce the expansion of its Canadian footprint with the opening of a new contact centre facility in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

Hiring will begin this month with start dates as early as July for senior leadership and corporate support positions, and mid-July for customer service positions. The Yarmouth contact centre will create 100 job opportunities immediately, with the potential expansion to more than 300 over time.

“We chose Yarmouth because of the exceptional reputation of the local workforce, solid infrastructure, the positive support and partnership from the Municipality of the District of Yarmouth and the continued leadership of the Nova Scotia Government,” said Tom Band, CEO at Millennium1 Solutions. “COVID-19 has devastated local economies and we are facing record numbers of unemployment in Canada. This opportunity makes good business sense for us and can have a significant impact on many people in this community. We can’t wait to open our doors.”

The new facility is located at 62 Rcom Drive (Hebron Business Park), a location that is being vacated by Web.com. Millennium will invest in new technology and changes to the physical infrastructure prior to its grand opening.

Millennium is also committed to continuity of employment for many of the Web.com employees currently working out of Yarmouth and to working with the company to enable a positive transition.

Millennium’s expansion supports the organic growth of its existing client base coupled with the growth from new client acquisition. “We continue to expand at a rapid pace working with many of Canada’s leading brands. In turn, this has resulted in extensive hiring within all of our Canadian facilities,” said Band. “We are delighted to be joining the Yarmouth business community and look forward to being an active and positive contributor to all aspects of the community.”
